“Piracy–A viable career choice” In today’s world, it’s probably a good backup…kind of a Plan B!
Who new these pirates would become such a hit? I think everyone has a bit of pirate in them, or at least knows someone near and dear to their heart that has a bit of pirate…ya gotta love those bad boys!
Do you have a pirate idea you want to share with me? I always welcome your ideas though please don’t be disappointed if I don’t use it…it has to hit me just right for me to consider it and that might not happen right away. However I might read it next month and the timing is perfect. So, I do keep almost all the suggestions for that very reason. Or your idea combined with someone else’s idea could morph into a whole ‘nother idea and I am off and running. So please don’t hesitate to send me an email at suehillisdesigns@aol.com.

Dear Sue,
I have just wandered onto your blog and am sitting here with a smile and a giggle. Love your pirates but love your Christmas trees even more, I felt like a little kid when I saw the trees in every room. I love Christmas trees, much to my husbands grief. We have a little house so my trees are not as grand as yours. But it is nice to see someone who loves trees as much as me. I will be back to see them again, Thank you for the lovely pictures.
My son is graduating from college this year, with a major of Economics and a minor of Finance. This chart — aside from the general giggle — just seems like a perfect, if tongue-in-cheek, design to stitch for his graduation. Hopefully, he will be able to get a job somewhere where the bosses have a sense of humor, and he will be able to display it in his cubicle/office.

My son is a “Pirate re-enactor” and I stitched your Snowman Pirate for him for Christmas…what a hoot! I made a pillow of it. It turned out perfect and he just laughed so, and even now has it displayed.
I want to stitch your Piracy..A career choice” and the the Pirate “booty”….are these designs available yet? I didn’t find them in any of your collections.
But I have ordered Pillage and Plunder and the Pirate Santa…..just too too cute. I will gift my son with these as the year goes by…birthday…next Christmas and ‘what-ever’.
My son looks awesome dressed as a pirate, and his wife is “The Pirate Queen”….they go to a lot of Pirate conventions. What fun.
